My Services

Individual & Group Coaching

Coaching services are for families who are looking for ongoing holistic support with their child and family life. Coaching is a great fit for families or caregivers who are feeling overwhelmed, confused, or curious about a variety of aspects of their child’s and their family life. Sessions are focused not only on actionable tools and skillbuilding, but on understanding yourself as a caregiver, understanding your child’s developmental phases and experiences, and offering a space to release big emotions - good, bad, happy, sad, angry - they’re all welcome.

Typically, I meet with coaching clients at least once a month, sometimes as often as weekly. The cadence of meetings depends on family needs and schedules and can always be adapted. Our first coaching session will be a 45-60 minute intake with you and your family.

Consultation

Consultation services are for families looking to address specific needs in specific environments. Possible topics include:

  • Home environment support

  • School/Daycare environment support

  • Accessibility consultation related to a specific need or diagnosis

  • Meal time support

  • Transition related support (i.e. getting out of the house in the morning or winding down for bed)

  • Many more!

Consultations typically include a 1-2 hour observation followed by a 1-2 hour conversation with families and any other caregivers you wish to include in the process. Conversation includes identifying strengths, talking through challenges, and coming up with recommendations and tools to try out. Following the consultation, I send a summary of my observations, our conversation, and recommendations.

Prior to the first consultation session, I will conduct a 45-60 minute intake with you and your family.

A note on in-person services.

I am grateful to be able to offer in-person services in the Greater Seattle area. Being rooted in Disability Justice practices, I believe that harm-reduction around the spread of viral illnesses is a key part of making my services accessible to everyone.

For all in-person services, I wear a KN95 or higher filtration mask. If anyone in your family is D(d)eaf or hard-of-hearing, I wear a clear-front N95 mask. When possible, I ask that adults also wear KN95+ masks, which I can provide. I understand that it is not always possible nor does it always make sense for families to wear a mask when we are working on early relational skills in which full access to facial expressions is key. I do not expect children to wear masks, unless that is your or their preference.

If you and your family have any additional needs regarding masking, testing, or other actions I can take to help reduce risk of viral transmission in your family, please let me know and I will be more than happy to accommodate.
